The arcade classic Aqua Jet, for which Okabe Keiichi contributed music during his time at Namco, is being re-released as part of the Arcade Archives series.
Two versions will be available starting Thursday, August 14, 2025:
Arcade Archives: Aqua Jet for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4
Arcade Archives 2: Aqua Jet for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|STo commemorate the release, Okabe Keiichi will appear on the special broadcast “Arcade Archiver #550: Aqua Jet Special!”, streaming on YouTube from 7:00 PM (JST) on the same day.
The program will reunite original development staff in what promises to be a nostalgic “class reunion” of sorts—featuring behind-the-scenes stories from the game’s creation, including insights into the music production.
