Takahashi Kuniyuki

Born in Hokkaido, Japan.
Graduated from Hokkaido University of Education, Art Course, Music Course. Majoring in trombone.
While playing in orchestras and big bands, he also played in an English-style brass band which deepened his knowledge of the brass band sound.
While still a student, he became interested in Japanese animation film scores under the influence of a friend and started to teach himself how to create music by programming.
After producing music for numerous TV commercials in Sapporo, he joined MONACA in spring 2013.
He is renowned for his wide range of genres cultivated through commercial music, while also honing glamorous brass arrangements using the skills from his own performing experience, combined with solid sound production that effectively accentuates visual content.
Favourite composers are Akira Ifukube and Ralph Vaughan Williams.
